Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Godofredo Alonso started the match with the kick off. Anastasio Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Evaristo Jesco, who was totally free with the ball in the 6th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Blai during the 6th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 6th minute, Gervasio Blai hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Atletico Regina FC's Anastasio Neron played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Isidoro Resto in the 16th minute of play. Evaristo Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Lino Abad was a little too slow when Silvano Guib got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 23rd minute. The score was now 1-0. Godofredo Alonso struck a weak shot in the 27th minute. Lino Abad didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Atletico Regina FC. Anastasio Neron showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciro Iruinea, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. In the 33rd match minute, Atletico Regina FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ramiro Aznar to maneuver through the defense. Anastasio Neron took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evaristo Jesco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. A collision led to Atletico Regina FC getting a freekick after 36 minutes play. Gervasio Blai hit a great ball. After 38 played minutes Avellaneda got a freekick which was hit by Ciro Iruinea. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Silvano Guib managed to get in a good position for a shot. Atletico Regina FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Silvano Guib was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Lino Abad breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 43rd of the match, Godofredo Alonso tried to place the ball in the upper right corner, but Lino Abad got in the way and made a wonderful save.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isidoro Resto to make the kick off. Antonio Bizi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Godofredo Alonso received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 56th minute. Lino Abad tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Avellaneda's Lino Abad played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Silvano Guib in the 63rd minute of play. 66 minutes into the match, Atletico Regina FC's Silvano Guib sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Lino Abad narrowly saved just below the crossbar. 70 minutes into the game, Cirilo Eladio was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Avellaneda's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Atletico Regina FC the free kick. Evaristo Jesco sent away a hard shot on goal in the 72nd minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After having played for 78 minutes, Godofredo Alonso managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Atletico Regina FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Godofredo Alonso was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After a rather tough play, Avellaneda's Cirilo Eladio got a free kick in the 79th minute. Silvano Guib sent away a hard shot on goal in the 85th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Godofredo Alonso in the 91st minute of play forced Avellaneda's goalkeeper Lino Abad to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Silvano Guib came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Atletico Regina FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Silvano Guib couldn't finish the play. Atletico Regina FC were really happy, having secured the victory after a very even contest. They thanked the players of Avellaneda for a fine match.
