Maximino Panpili blasted a shot towards the goal in the 4th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Rafael Veto having to make a save. Rafael Veto stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Baldomero Otsoko's shot from short distance in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Samuhi's Fabio Chaime got a free kick in the 8th minute. In the 16th play minute Niceto Gerazan came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Emanuel Loco. 1-0. Baldomero Otsoko struck a weak shot in the 18th minute. Rafael Veto didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cienega. Adan Edorta fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Emanuel Loco having to interfere. A collision led to Samuhi getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Alan Barrionuevo hit a great ball. Samuhi's supporters rose to their feet, but Niceto Gerazan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Emanuel Loco breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Robustiano Orain fell near the penalty area in the 46th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Cienega's protests and gave Robustiano Orain a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Cienega getting a freekick after 46 minutes play. Robustiano Orain hit a great ball. In the 48th minute, Niceto Gerazan got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Baldomero Otsoko was the one to do the kick off. Cienega's Emanuel Loco played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Adan Edorta in the 61st minute of play. In the 65th minute, Damian Chago hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Maximino Panpili struck a weak shot in the 67th minute. In the 85th match minute, Cienega was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Damian Chago to maneuver through the defense. If Maximino Panpili had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Chago sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After having played for 98 minutes, Adan Edorta managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Samuhi's supporters crossed their fingers, but Adan Edorta was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal.
