An unexpectedly hard shot by Cristian Artal in the 23rd minute of play forced C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's goalkeeper Mauricio Bermund to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Eustacio Miro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Feliciano Santio in the 26th minute of the match. Mauricio Bermund took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cristian Artal, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 37th minute, Benito Gilabert sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and C.A.BOCA JUNIORS's Mauricio Bermund didn't even have to move. Vicente Dimas sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eustacio Miro didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Benigno Bihar went, in the 41st minute, to the upper right corner, 0-2 was the resulting score. In the 46th minute, Nicanor Eleazar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Disappointed in the 0-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

In the 55th minute Vicente Dimas shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mauricio Bermund saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
