Lino Cordarell made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Romulo Che in the 6th minute of play. 10 minutes into the match, Lonquimay's goal looked a bit too open when Cecilio Maxin came free, but Lino Cordarell reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Lino Cordarell didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Romulo Che went, in the 11th minute, to the upper right corner, 0-1 was the resulting score. Lino Cordarell showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romulo Che in the 18th minute of the match. If Cecilio Maxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Constituyentes CF getting a freekick after 21 minutes play. Cecilio Maxin hit a great ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ricardo Dantae in the 26th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Nestor Hitz saved Constituyentes CF from getting behind. The audience thought a goal was coming when Ricardo Dantae got free with Nestor Hitz in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Isidro Gilabert took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 30th minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Lino Cordarell. Lonquimay's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. If Cecilio Maxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 36th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 44thth minute of the game Cecilio Maxin who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lonquimay's Lino Cordarell was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Isidro Gilabert kicked well hit freekick during the 46th minute of the match. The Lonquimay fans' excitement grew in the 47th match minute when Lonquimay's Ricardo Dantae looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-2 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Disappointed in the 1-2 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Cecilio Maxin to strike the kick off in the second half. If Ricardo Dantae had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. With a little luck, Lonquimay's Lino Cordarell got control of the ball when Romulo Che tried to sneak it across the goal line. Romulo Che fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 58th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lino Cordarell having to interfere. Romulo Che scored 1-3 in the 64th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Lino Cordarell, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 69 minutes into the match, Lonquimay's goalkeeper Lino Cordarell had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Romulo Che. Romulo Che received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 70th minute. Lino Cordarell tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. 72 minutes into the match, Lonquimay's Ricardo Dantae sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Nestor Hitz narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Ricardo Dantae came up free with the goalie in the 73rd minute, the Lonquimay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ricardo Dantae couldn't finish the play. Guillermo Amaya scored 2-3 in the 75th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Nestor Hitz, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. If Cecilio Maxin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 81st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 82nd minute, Ricardo Dantae left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Lonquimay fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 3-3. Baldomiro Vito charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Baldomiro Vito the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Lino Cordarell took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Cecilio Maxin, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Through an outstanding action, after 97 minutes, Lino Cordarell successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
