The audience thought a goal was coming when Marco Mouricio got free with Leonides Oroitz in the 7th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marciano Mateo kicked well hit freekick during the 8th minute of the match. Mariano Ekhi hit a great freekick 9 minutes into the match. If Marciano Mateo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 10th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 12th minute, Marciano Mateo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cornelio Rosalio kicked well hit freekick during the 16th minute of the match. Central FC's Leonides Oroitz played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mariano Ekhi in the 18th minute of play. Leonides Oroitz made an important save on a dangerous shot by Marco Mouricio in the 19th minute. After a rather tough play, LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's Gaudencio Oliviero got a free kick in the 21st minute. Serafin Cordera sent away a hard shot on goal in the 24th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After 26 minutes of play, LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's Gaudencio Oliviero made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Leonides Oroitz was left in no man's land by his defense there! After 29 played minutes Central FC got a freekick which was hit by Vicente Quintan. Mariano Ekhi received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Leonides Oroitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After having played for 35 minutes, Baltasar Columbo managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Central FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Baltasar Columbo was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The supporters of Central FC booed when LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 36 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gaudencio Oliviero didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 39th minute of the match Central FC got a corner. LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hilario Sayvion ran over to the corner to take the kick. Marco Mouricio received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. Leonides Oroitz tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Baltasar Columbo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Patricio Nuñez having to interfere. In the 43rd minute, Baltasar Columbo made a precise shot to the right of Patricio Nuñez. LA GUARDIA IMPERIAL's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. Patricio Nuñez took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marciano Mateo, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Hilario Sayvion was the one to do the kick off. Serafin Cordera struck a weak shot in the 53rd minute. Patricio Nuñez didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Central FC. Horacio Ramone lost his temper 56 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card.
