In the 8th minute Pascual Brun shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aurelio Francis saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Chicligasta's Aurelio Francis proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 13th minute of the match, managed to save Chicligasta from getting a goal against them. After 15 minutes, Marcelo Llanos mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Chicligasta and the Sudor y Sangre players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 15th minute, Marcelo Llanos hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 22 minutes into the match, Urbano Lain notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Sudor y Sangre's Eduardo Ostots. Eduardo Ostots was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 25th minute, Pascual Brun ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Aurelio Francis was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. In the 29th match minute, Chicligasta was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jeremias Pelayo to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, Pascual Brun recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Aurelio Francis. Pascual Brun showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 2-1. Eduardo Ostots took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Ferrando, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Aurelio Francis showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Pascual Brun in the 42nd minute of the match. Pascual Brun received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Aurelio Francis tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the last second Aurelio Francis throw himself and got hold of the ball when Pascual Brun in the 47thth minute from his position got away a shot towards the right post.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Maximino Ferrando was the one to do the kick off. After some fancy dribbling in the 51st minute, Modesto Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sudor y Sangre's supporters rose to their feet, but Modesto Cristofol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aurelio Francis breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a defensive mix-up in Chicligasta's zone, Isaias Cordeiro stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aurelio Francis came out of the goal and Isaias Cordeiro tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 58th minute of the match Sudor y Sangre got a corner. Chicligasta's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Bonifacio Goizeder ran over to the corner to take the kick. Bonifacio Goizeder made a great header on Sudor y Sangre's corner, it was just that Chicligasta's Aurelio Francis managed to reach the ball for a save. Aurelio Francis took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pascual Brun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. An unexpectedly hard shot by Isaias Cordeiro in the 61st minute of play forced Chicligasta's goalkeeper Aurelio Francis to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After having played for 63 minutes, Modesto Cristofol managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sudor y Sangre's supporters crossed their fingers, but Modesto Cristofol was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Pascual Brun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Francis was relentless in the 64th minute of the game. Maximino Ferrando's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Eduardo Ostots read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. Pascual Brun sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Sudor y Sangre's Pascual Brun in the 70th minute got a chance for a shot 70th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. After 76 minutes of play, Sudor y Sangre's Isaias Cordeiro made it 3-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aurelio Francis was left in no man's land by his defense there! The audience was convinced that Pascual Brun's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Aurelio Francis was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. 82 minutes into the match, Pascual Brun notched a goal, 4-1, to the right of Chicligasta's Aurelio Francis. Aurelio Francis was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Chicligasta's Aurelio Francis played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pascual Brun in the 90th minute of play. Eduardo Ostots made a fantastic save in the 94th minute, when Urbano Lain sent off a good shot on target. If Isaias Cordeiro had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
