The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 8 minutes into the game, Independencia AFC's Luisito Ioritz nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Generoso Dacio made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Fausto Santikurtz took the ball and in the 14 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Generoso Dacio. Generoso Dacio dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. 17 minutes into the game, Victorino Fanuco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Kilometro 30's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Independencia AFC the free kick. In the 19th minute Albino Cristos shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Generoso Dacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Fausto Santikurtz in the 20th minute of the match. In the 22nd minute Luisito Ioritz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Fausto Santikurtz in the 23rd minute of play forced Kilometro 30's goalkeeper Generoso Dacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Kilometro 30's Generoso Dacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Ioritz in the 26th minute of play. Generoso Dacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Antonio Mede in the 28th minute of play. Generoso Dacio showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Antonio Mede in the 28th minute of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Luisito Ioritz in the 30th minute of play forced Kilometro 30's goalkeeper Generoso Dacio to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 46th minute of the match Independencia AFC got a corner. Kilometro 30's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Hilario Matei ran over to the corner to take the kick. After the first half Independencia AFC were leading 0-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The wind increased when Luisito Ioritz made the kick off in the second half. After some fancy dribbling in the 52nd minute, Ariel Nerio managed to get in a good position for a shot. Independencia AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ariel Nerio was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Generoso Dacio breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Kilometro 30's Generoso Dacio played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Luisito Ioritz in the 62nd minute of play. 63 minutes into the match, Ariel Nerio had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Generoso Dacio. Kilometro 30's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ariel Nerio was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-4. Generoso Dacio made an important save on a dangerous shot by Fausto Santikurtz in the 67th minute. With 69 minutes on the clock, Florencio Maxin commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After a rather tough play, Kilometro 30's Florencio Maxin got a free kick in the 70th minute. The supporters of Independencia AFC booed when Kilometro 30 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Justino Loco didn't get a good kick on the ball. Generoso Dacio made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Luisito Ioritz in the 76th minute of play. Kilometro 30's Generoso Dacio proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 86th minute of the match, managed to save Kilometro 30 from getting a goal against them. In the 87th minute Arnoldo Haitz shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Generoso Dacio saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Luisito Ioritz fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 92nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Generoso Dacio having to interfere. The Kilometro 30 fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Independencia AFC were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
