In the 20th minute, Conrado Karmel had to be helped off the field due to a pulled leg muscle. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Eulalio Afonso during the 20th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 20th match minute, Yacuchirí was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Eulalio Afonso to maneuver through the defense. After a defensive mix-up in Yacuchirí's zone, Rodolfo Nuno stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Danilo Nofre came out of the goal and Rodolfo Nuno tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Chilibroste booed when Yacuchirí was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Lisandro Iratxo didn't get a good kick on the ball. Marco Mincho's late challenge caught a Chilibroste's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Marco Mincho helped the player get up and apologised. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 24th minute of the game. One of Yacuchirí:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Chilibroste:s goal. In the 26th minute there was a penalty for Chilibroste. Fernan Chorache stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Danilo Nofre. 0-1. In the 28th match minute, Chilibroste was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Rodolfo Nuno to maneuver through the defense. 30 minutes into the game, one of Chilibroste:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. When the match had been going on for 32 minutes, Yacuchirí's Santo Ermano got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Justino Cucao. Uriel Natal hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. Primitivo Fiz struck a weak shot in the 37th minute. Danilo Nofre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Chilibroste. In the 38th minute Rodolfo Nuno shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Danilo Nofre saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Danilo Nofre made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Primitivo Santikurtz in the 41st minute of play. In the 44th minute, Chilibroste's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Jacinto Isusko fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Ciro Olo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Justino Cucao having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Benedicto Caradaro made the kick off in the second half. Justino Cucao made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Jacinto Isusko in the 51st minute of play. Ciro Olo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Justino Cucao having to make a save. Justino Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Isusko in the 59th minute of the match. Justino Cucao came out of the goal in the 61st minute to try and stop a shot by Yacuchirí's Jacinto Isusko. But to his dismay, Jacinto Isusko quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. The supporters of Yacuchirí booed when Chilibroste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 66 match minutes in a wonderful position. Epifanio Edorta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Justino Cucao showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Jacinto Isusko in the 72nd minute of the match. The supporters of Yacuchirí booed when Chilibroste was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rodolfo Nuno didn't get a good kick on the ball. Primitivo Santikurtz hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Yacuchirí's Benedicto Caradaro got a good chance for a goal in the 85th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Jacinto Isusko had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Marco Mincho hit a great freekick 93 minutes into the match. Yacuchirí walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
