Argentium FC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave MACALIN FC the free kick. 14 minutes into the game, one of Argentium FC:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Joel Castulo had in the 17thth minute some difficulties stopping Manuel Etxatxu's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. Segundo Escobar made an important save on a dangerous shot by Zacarias Segio in the 20th minute. Segundo Escobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 21st minute. Melquiades Ondino hit a great freekick 21 minutes into the match. In the 22nd minute, Victor Velasco made a precise shot to the right of Segundo Escobar. MACALIN FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-0. Segundo Escobar made a fantastic save in the 25th minute, when Zacarias Segio sent off a good shot on target. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nestor Cerilo in the 27th minute of play forced Argentium FC's goalkeeper Joel Castulo to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Hector Jakes's late challenge caught a MACALIN FC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Hector Jakes helped the player get up and apologised. Nestor Cerilo sent away a hard shot on goal in the 47th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Geronimo Ubarna stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. MACALIN FC's Segundo Escobar played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Uriel Diegotxe in the 57th minute of play. After some careless play in the MACALIN FC defense, Zacarias Segio kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Segundo Escobar. The MACALIN FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Segundo Escobar should have stopped the shot. Segundo Escobar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Hector Jakes, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Velasco in the 71st minute of play forced MACALIN FC's goalkeeper Segundo Escobar to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Argentium FC's Joel Castulo proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 73rd minute of the match, managed to save Argentium FC from getting a goal against them. A collision led to Argentium FC getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Sebastian Eli hit a great ball. Segundo Escobar came out of the goal in the 79th minute to try and stop a shot by Argentium FC's Anibal Guzman. But to his dismay, Anibal Guzman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. 81 minutes into the match, MACALIN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Uriel Diegotxe came free, but Segundo Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Geronimo Ubarna could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 85th minute of the match, but Joel Castulo made a huge save. Segundo Escobar made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Uriel Diegotxe in the 87th minute of play. 88 minutes into the match, MACALIN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Zacarias Segio came free, but Segundo Escobar reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Segundo Escobar took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Victor Velasco, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Nunez Dominguez fell near the penalty area in the 96th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored MACALIN FC's protests and gave Nunez Dominguez a yellow card for diving instead. Nunez Dominguez kicked well hit freekick during the 96th minute of the match. 97 minutes into the game, Victor Velasco cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 5-0. Segundo Escobar was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in.
