Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Pascual Abascal took the kick off in the first half of the match. After a rather tough play, Cerveceros FC's Camillo Apicella got a free kick in the 6th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gerardo Medina in the 7th minute of play forced Cerveceros FC's goalkeeper Marcos Cavaliere to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 12th minute, Jan-Joost Wellens made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Cavaliere. Cerveceros FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-1. After 14 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Cerveceros FC! Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Gerardo Medina in the 17th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Marcos Cavaliere prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With 22 minutes on the clock, Filiberto Otsando commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. After 21 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for diablos! In the 29th match minute, Cerveceros FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maximino Osasun to maneuver through the defense. When Bernabe Fernandes, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 32 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The José Pedro Lago was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. After 35 played minutes Cerveceros FC got a freekick which was hit by Maximino Osasun. After 37 played minutes diablos got a freekick which was hit by Siro Urki. After some fancy dribbling in the 41st minute, Esteban Hitz managed to get in a good position for a shot. diablos's supporters rose to their feet, but Esteban Hitz was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cavaliere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. A collision led to Cerveceros FC getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Maximino Osasun hit a great ball. When Jan-Joost Wellens came up free with the goalie in the 47th minute, the diablos fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Jan-Joost Wellens couldn't finish the play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.
When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Gerardo Medina made a kick off. In the 54th minute, Esteban Hitz hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. diablos's Gerardo Medina got a good chance for a goal in the 63rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Filipe Cebada managed to get in a good position for a shot. diablos's supporters rose to their feet, but Filipe Cebada was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Marcos Cavaliere breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Marcos Cavaliere showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gerardo Medina, who was totally free with the ball in the 68th minute. A collision led to diablos getting a freekick after 77 minutes play. Jan-Joost Wellens hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Gerardo Medina shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Cavaliere saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Cerveceros FC's Nunez Eskuin got a free kick in the 83rd minute. After 87 played minutes Cerveceros FC got a freekick which was hit by Cristobal Arlo. diablos's Esteban Hitz got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. José Pedro Lago took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maximino Osasun, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side.
