Gimnasia de Mendoza's Jurand Sala proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 8th minute of the match, managed to save Gimnasia de Mendoza from getting a goal against them. 秦霆松 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Inocencio Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Gimnasia de Mendoza defense, Salvador Artizar kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Jurand Sala. The Gimnasia de Mendoza fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Jurand Sala should have stopped the shot. If 秦霆松 had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 20th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 22nd minute 秦霆松 shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gabriel Ciano in the 27th minute of play forced Gimnasia de Mendoza's goalkeeper Jurand Sala to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 29th minute, Salvador Artizar hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Azcuenaga's Inocencio Chano played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by 秦霆松 in the 30th minute of play. Inocencio Chano showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from 秦霆松 in the 31st minute of the match. After some fancy dribbling in the 33rd minute, 秦霆松 managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gimnasia de Mendoza's supporters rose to their feet, but 秦霆松 was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Inocencio Chano breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Jurand Sala made a fantastic save in the 35th minute, when Salvador Artizar sent off a good shot on target. In the 37th minute, 秦霆松 left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Gimnasia de Mendoza fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-1. 42 minutes into the match, Azcuenaga's goal looked a bit too open when 秦霆松 came free, but Inocencio Chano reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by 秦霆松 in the 45th minute of play forced Azcuenaga's goalkeeper Inocencio Chano to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. 秦霆松 was the one to do the kick off. Gabriel Firmin charged in rather forcefully in the 51st minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Gabriel Firmin the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Gabriel Firmin hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. After 55 played minutes Gimnasia de Mendoza got a freekick which was hit by Gustavo Leguizamón. After 57 played minutes Azcuenaga got a freekick which was hit by Elvio Quexal. 秦霆松 received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 58th minute. Inocencio Chano tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gimnasia de Mendoza's Nunez Javiar was substituted for 秦霆松. The supporters of Gimnasia de Mendoza booed when Azcuenaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Elvio Quexal didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 70th minute Nunez Javiar shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inocencio Chano saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Elvio Quexal hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. 77 minutes into the game, Nunez Javiar cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-3. Inocencio Chano was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. If Nunez Javiar had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 83rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. 83 minutes into the match, Gimnasia de Mendoza's Nunez Javiar sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Inocencio Chano narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 85 minutes, Luisito Gorka mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Gimnasia de Mendoza and the Azcuenaga players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Gimnasia de Mendoza getting a freekick after 86 minutes play. Luisito Gorka hit a great ball. Nunez Javiars short, quick shot in the 89thth minute got Inocencio Chano to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After 91 minutes, Nunez Javiar made it 2-4 with a short kick to the right side. Azcuenaga's Inocencio Chano tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Azcuenaga's Elvio Quexal got his second yellow card of the match in the 94th minute. The referee ordered Elvio Quexal off the ground. Elvio Quexal hit a great freekick 95 minutes into the match. When the final whistle sounded Gimnasia de Mendoza left the ground with the victory after a much better performance than Azcuenaga.
