The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. 3 minutes into the match, Gogo Cordairo notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Clemen´s For Ever's Denis Euloxu. Denis Euloxu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. After 10 minutes, Israel Lastur mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Tortugas AFC and the Clemen´s For Ever players grew even worse after the yellow card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 9th minute of the game. One of Tortugas AFC:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Clemen´s For Ever:s goal. In the 11th minute there was a penalty for Clemen´s For Ever. Ramiro Velasco stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Niceto Lauaxeta. 1-1. 18 minutes into the match, Tortugas AFC's goalkeeper Niceto Lauaxeta had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Arturo Ortzi. The supporters of Tortugas AFC booed when Clemen´s For Ever was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 19 match minutes in a wonderful position. Enzo Cambiasso didn't get a good kick on the ball. Martin Celio kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. 22 minutes into the game, Tortugas AFC's Baltasar Naike nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Denis Euloxu made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-2. Baltasar Naike took the ball and in the 26 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Denis Euloxu. Denis Euloxu dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-3. Baltasar Naike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 29th minute. Denis Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 31st minute, Jairo Montrel fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Niceto Lauaxeta, passed just outside the right post. After having played for 33 minutes, Jairo Montrel managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Clemen´s For Ever's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jairo Montrel was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, one of Clemen´s For Ever:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Gogo Cordairo walked up to take care of the penalty kick. He was aiming for the top corner, but the ball went just outside the post. Baltasar Naike received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Denis Euloxu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jairo Montrel sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 43rd minute Baltasar Naike shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Denis Euloxu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Baltasar Naike's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Denis Euloxu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 44th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Ramiro Velasco had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Niceto Lauaxeta. Tortugas AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Ramiro Velasco was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 2-3.
The wind increased when Baltasar Naike made the kick off in the second half. 55 minutes into the game, Ismael Velasco was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Tortugas AFC's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Clemen´s For Ever the free kick. After 55 played minutes Tortugas AFC got a freekick which was hit by Ismael Velasco. Baltasar Naike did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-4 to the left of a surprised Denis Euloxu 58 minutes into the match. In the 64th minute, Francisco Miro hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Tortugas AFC's zone, Ramiro Velasco stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Lauaxeta came out of the goal and Ramiro Velasco tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. A collision led to Clemen´s For Ever getting a freekick after 65 minutes play. Martin Celio hit a great ball. Baltasar Naike hit a great freekick 67 minutes into the match. Jairo Montrel took the ball and in the 70 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Niceto Lauaxeta. Niceto Lauaxeta dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-4. 74 minutes into the game, Arturo Ortzi was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Jairo Montrel scored 4-4 in the 76th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Niceto Lauaxeta, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Niceto Lauaxeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ramiro Velasco, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. Ramiro Velasco charged in rather forcefully in the 83rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Ramiro Velasco the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Ramiro Velasco hit a great freekick 83 minutes into the match. Niceto Lauaxeta showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Jairo Montrel, who was totally free with the ball in the 88th minute. When Baltasar Naike came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Tortugas AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Baltasar Naike couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Tortugas AFC's zone, Jairo Montrel stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Niceto Lauaxeta came out of the goal and Jairo Montrel tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
