Clemente Cordearo came out of the goal and Delmiro Primo tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Faustino Aimar fell near the penalty area in the 8th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Arsenal F.C.'s protests and gave Faustino Aimar a yellow card for diving instead. After 8 played minutes Arsenal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Faustino Aimar. In the 10th minute, Marciano Hartz sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Victorica AFC's Marcos Inge didn't even have to move. In the 12th minute of the match, Eusebio Maxin got a very nice opportunity to score, but Marcos Inge was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 13th match minute, Arsenal F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Agustin Bartolome to maneuver through the defense. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Agustin Bartolome during the 15th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Clemente Cordearo had in the 16thth minute some difficulties stopping Niceto Herena's well aimed penalty as it nearly passed him on his left side, but he still managed to hold the ball. 16 minutes into the game, Victorica AFC's Niceto Herena nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Clemente Cordearo made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Niceto Herena charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Niceto Herena the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Victorica AFC getting a freekick after 18 minutes play. Niceto Herena hit a great ball. Clemente Cordearo showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Delmiro Primo, who was totally free with the ball in the 25th minute. In the 30th minute Diego Milito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Inge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Delmiro Primo kicked well hit freekick during the 31st minute of the match. 34 minutes had been played when some careless play by Arsenal F.C.'s defense caused the ball to cross the line for a corner. Alberto Ralondo was slow to take the kick. During this time Victorica AFC's players had a chance to rest. The corner led Victorica AFC's Niceto Herena to fire away a dangerous shot which Clemente Cordearo despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. Marcos Inge showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Diego Milito, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Delmiro Primo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Clemente Cordearo having to interfere. 45 minutes into the game, Victorica AFC's Delmiro Primo nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Maxin was the one to do the kick off. Diego Milito fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Marcos Inge having to interfere. After 55 played minutes Arsenal F.C. got a freekick which was hit by Agustin Bartolome. Clemente Cordearo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alberto Ralondo in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Arsenal F.C.'s goalie took a deep sigh of relief after Alberto Ralondo fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. If Alberto Ralondo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Delmiro Primo blasted a shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Clemente Cordearo having to make a save. In the 65th minute, Diego Milito made a precise shot to the right of Marcos Inge. Victorica AFC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 67th minute Diego Milito shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Marcos Inge saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, Victorica AFC's Bernabe Isias got a free kick in the 68th minute. Clemente Cordearo came out of the goal in the 72nd minute to try and stop a shot by Victorica AFC's Alberto Ralondo. But to his dismay, Alberto Ralondo quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Victorica AFC's manager could be seen on the sidelines shaking his head and muttering to himself as his team had just wasted another chance. 82 minutes into the match, Diego Milito notched a goal, 2-3, to the right of Victorica AFC's Marcos Inge. Marcos Inge was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. The audience thought a goal was coming when Alberto Ralondo got free with Clemente Cordearo in the 92nd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Marcos Inge showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Diego Milito in the 96th minute of the match. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Victorica AFC eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
