Edelmiro Basajaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Joaquin Aznar, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Gav Sharpe fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Celestino Dei having to interfere. 24 minutes into the match, DUGGAN FC's goal looked a bit too open when Gav Sharpe came free, but Celestino Dei reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 26th minute of the match The Arquitect got a corner. DUGGAN FC's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Christian Ricart ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner led The Arquitect's Christian Ricart to fire away a dangerous shot which Celestino Dei despite some difficulties managed to get hold on the ball. 33 minutes into the match, Joaquin Aznar had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Edelmiro Basajaun. The Arquitect's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Joaquin Aznar was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 1-1. 37 minutes into the match, The Arquitect's goalkeeper Edelmiro Basajaun had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ciriaco Dalmai. In the 37th minute, DUGGAN FC's Ciriaco Dalmai dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 2-1. Edelmiro Basajaun showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Epifanio Ruisko, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 3-1 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciriaco Dalmai made a kick off. 52 minutes into the game, Ciriaco Dalmai cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-1. After some careless play in the DUGGAN FC defense, Gav Sharpe kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Celestino Dei. The DUGGAN FC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Celestino Dei should have stopped the shot. In the 60th minute Epifanio Ruisko shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Edelmiro Basajaun saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ciriaco Dalmai in the 61st minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Edelmiro Basajaun prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After 64 minutes of play, DUGGAN FC's Ramon Piarres made it 5-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Edelmiro Basajaun was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 81st minute Gav Sharpe shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Celestino Dei saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 85th minute, Joaquin Aznar ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Edelmiro Basajaun was frozen by the shot and now it was 8-2.
