The audience thought a goal was coming when Eusebio Chumo got free with Rosendo Avellaneda in the 19th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Berdoi Tablares made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Steffen Lazarev in the 23rd minute of play. 26 minutes into the match, Saiyajin's goal looked a bit too open when Steffen Lazarev came free, but Berdoi Tablares reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Jason Oliviers in the 28th minute of play forced Saiyajin's goalkeeper Berdoi Tablares to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 30th minute, Miguel Hever ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berdoi Tablares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. If Steffen Lazarev had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Berdoi Tablares showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Carlos Izel in the 36th minute of the match. In the 38th minute, Artemio Bento ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Berdoi Tablares was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. After a rather tough play, Saiyajin's Isaac Euloxu got a free kick in the 41st minute. In the 44th minute of the match APOLION got a corner. Saiyajin's goalie ran out to the linesman to protest the call, but the linesman resolutely pointed his flag at the cornerflag. Ildefonso Abalos ran over to the corner to take the kick. The corner ended in Ildefonso Abalos almost managing to get the ball behind the net, but Saiyajin's Berdoi Tablares did a great save. After the first half APOLION were leading 0-2. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Eusebio Chumo was the one to do the kick off. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gervasio Chuan during the 51st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Gervasio Chuan hit a great freekick 51 minutes into the match. Berdoi Tablares showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Artemio Bento, who was totally free with the ball in the 54th minute. APOLION's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Ildefonso Abalos in the 55th minute. In the 55th minute, Jason Oliviers hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Artemio Bento came up free with the goalie in the 58th minute, the APOLION fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Artemio Bento couldn't finish the play. Eusebio Chumo charged in rather forcefully in the 69th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Eusebio Chumo the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. In the 69th minute, Eusebio Chumo hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saiyajin made a substitution. Tsubasa Atom replaced Ismael Bernebe. The supporters of APOLION booed when Saiyajin was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Dario Mercurio didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Saiyajin's goalkeeper Berdoi Tablares, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The audience was convinced that Artemio Bento's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Berdoi Tablares was relentless in the 77th minute of the game. If Eusebio Chumo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 80 minutes into the match, APOLION's Steffen Lazarev sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Berdoi Tablares narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Saiyajin's defense didn't have a chance, in the 85th minute, when Artemio Bento scored to the left of an out of position Berdoi Tablares, making the score, 0-3. Saiyajin's Berdoi Tablares proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Saiyajin from getting a goal against them.
