Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Virgilio Lugo got the match started through his kick off. In the 3rd match minute, PLAZA ITALIA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Özdemir Yura to maneuver through the defense. Benedicto Victoro took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Pim Pero, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Neanderthal's Julian Egoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ciro Berriotxoa in the 17th minute of play. Benedicto Victoro showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Pim Pero, who was totally free with the ball in the 19th minute. Eleuterio Lano hit a great freekick 20 minutes into the match. PLAZA ITALIA F.C's defense didn't have a chance, in the 24th minute, when Pim Pero scored to the left of an out of position Benedicto Victoro, making the score, 1-0. Pim Pero's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Victoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 28th minute of play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Pim Pero in the 30th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Benedicto Victoro prevented the ball from getting in the gole. When Pim Pero came up free with the goalie in the 31st minute, the Neanderthal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Pim Pero couldn't finish the play. 32 minutes into the match, Neanderthal's Pim Pero sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Benedicto Victoro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When the match clock showed 36 minutes, the score became 1-1 when Sergio Haritz sped through Neanderthal's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Julian Egoi. Julian Egoi took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niceto Abeita, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The supporters of Neanderthal booed when PLAZA ITALIA F.C was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Harri Kane didn't get a good kick on the ball. 45 minutes into the match, PLAZA ITALIA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Pim Pero came free, but Benedicto Victoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sergio Haritz stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sergio Haritz could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 51st minute of the match, but Julian Egoi made a huge save. 54 minutes into the match, PLAZA ITALIA F.C's goal looked a bit too open when Virgilio Lugo came free, but Benedicto Victoro reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 55thth minute of the game Virgilio Lugo who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but PLAZA ITALIA F.C's Benedicto Victoro was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 57th match minute, PLAZA ITALIA F.C was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Luca Segundo to maneuver through the defense. Neanderthal's Julian Egoi proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 63rd minute of the match, managed to save Neanderthal from getting a goal against them. A collision led to PLAZA ITALIA F.C getting a freekick after 67 minutes play. Özdemir Yura hit a great ball. Neanderthal made a substitution. Isaac Lehen replaced Romulo Bladi. When Sergio Haritz fell near the penalty area in the 77th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored PLAZA ITALIA F.C's protests and gave Sergio Haritz a yellow card for diving instead. In the 80th minute of the game Özdemir Yura made a throw-in which Ivo Barbosa played forward. Benedicto Victoro showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lino Liher in the 84th minute of the match. Benedicto Victoro came out of the goal in the 90th minute to try and stop a shot by Neanderthal's Lino Liher. But to his dismay, Lino Liher quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 2-1. Lino Liher's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Benedicto Victoro read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play. A collision led to PLAZA ITALIA F.C getting a freekick after 95 minutes play. Özdemir Yura hit a great ball. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Neanderthal fans cheered their team off the field, for while PLAZA ITALIA F.C had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
