Spectators: 43 (Terracing: 33, Seating: 10, VIP seats: 0) Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Čeda Đurović started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Dobrašin Veljović took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Marcus Sá. Marcus Sá dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-1. Marcus Sá made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dobrašin Veljović in the 6th minute of play. In the 6th match minute, FK Partizan Beograd was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aćim Ajdarić to maneuver through the defense. 7 minutes into the game, Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Čeda Đurović nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Marcus Sá made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-2. Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Dobrašin Veljović got a good chance for a goal in the 10th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Marcus Sá showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Čeda Đurović in the 12th minute of the match. In the 17th minute, Srđa Vulić hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Čeda Đurović was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 18th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. When Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Dobrašin Veljović in the 20th minute got a chance for a shot 20th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FK Partizan Beograd's goalie prevented a goal. After 23 minutes of play, Sirmium Legionaries F.C.'s Dobrašin Veljović made it 0-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Marcus Sá was left in no man's land by his defense there! Vlajko Bošnjak kicked well hit freekick during the 26th minute of the match. In the 34th minute, FK Partizan Beograd's Gradiša Paunović seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Gradiša Paunović the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of FK Partizan Beograd protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Gradiša Paunović had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. In the 34th minute, Gradiša Paunović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Čeda Đurović, 35 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. Dobrašin Veljović scored 0-5 in the 37th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Marcus Sá, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Marcus Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobrašin Veljović, who was totally free with the ball in the 39th minute. Marcus Sá took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dobrašin Veljović, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Lázaro Lucian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 43rd minute. Pavle Komazec tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere.

In the 54th match minute, Sirmium Legionaries F.C. was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Milutin Mančić to maneuver through the defense. If Dobrašin Veljović had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 58th minute, Lázaro Lucian hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Åke Bållström came up free with the goalie in the 61st minute, the FK Partizan Beograd fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Åke Bållström couldn't finish the play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlajko Bošnjak in the 63rd minute of play forced FK Partizan Beograd's goalkeeper Marcus Sá to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Marcus Sá made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Čeda Đurović sent off a good shot on target. Marcus Sá made an important save on a dangerous shot by Dobrašin Veljović in the 68th minute. Čeda Đurović received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Marcus Sá came out and tried to block the shot, but Čeda Đurović slotted it home off the left post making it 0-6 in the 72nd minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Åke Bållström during the 77th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 77 played minutes FK Partizan Beograd got a freekick which was hit by Åke Bållström. In the 79th minute, Jevtimije Basara hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After 87 minutes, Jevtimije Basara mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the FK Partizan Beograd and the Sirmium Legionaries F.C. players grew even worse after the yellow card. Marcus Sá showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dobrašin Veljović, who was totally free with the ball in the 91st minute. After a defensive mix-up in FK Partizan Beograd's zone, Čeda Đurović stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Marcus Sá came out of the goal and Čeda Đurović tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When the match was over Sirmium Legionaries F.C. could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than FK Partizan Beograd throughout the match.
