Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Octávio Carreira took the ball and in the 3 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Higino Delgado. Higino Delgado dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 1-0. If Reginaldo Lencastre had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Guirela's defense didn't have a chance, in the 13th minute, when Hildeberto Antas scored to the left of an out of position Higino Delgado, making the score, 2-0. After 19 minutes, Porfírio Soares mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the S.C.PJFG and the SC Guirela players grew even worse after the yellow card. Porfírio Soares kicked well hit freekick during the 19th minute of the match. Reginaldo Lencastre sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With his leg Higino Delgado managed to avoid a goal in the 26thth minute, when S.C.PJFG's Octávio Carreira fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. S.C.PJFG's Herberto Lobo played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Germano Novais in the 29th minute of play. Herberto Lobo made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Reginaldo Lencastre in the 30th minute of play. After 36 minutes of play, SC Guirela's Leal Fiúza made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Herberto Lobo was left in no man's land by his defense there! If Germano Novais had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 42nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. SC Guirela's Germano Novais got a good chance for a goal in the 45th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 2-1.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Hildeberto Antas stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. An unexpectedly hard shot by Hildeberto Antas in the 54th minute of play forced SC Guirela's goalkeeper Higino Delgado to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Higino Delgado showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Hildeberto Antas in the 58th minute of the match. In the 65th minute, Rui Dantas sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and S.C.PJFG's Herberto Lobo didn't even have to move. Herberto Lobo was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Reginaldo Lencastre showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-2 in the 67 minute of play. If Hildeberto Antas had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Germano Novais got in the 79th a clear chance and fired away a hard shot against goal, but Herberto Lobo handled the situation perfectly and made a save by the crossbar. In the 79th minute, Alexandre Fiúza hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Hildeberto Antas ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Higino Delgado was frozen by the shot and now it was 3-2. 88 minutes into the match, S.C.PJFG's goal looked a bit too open when Leal Fiúza came free, but Herberto Lobo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Germano Novais could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 90th minute of the match, but Herberto Lobo made a huge save. When Octávio Carreira came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the S.C.PJFG fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Octávio Carreira couldn't finish the play. In the 94th minute Reginaldo Lencastre shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Herberto Lobo saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. S.C.PJFG had won after a very even match.
