In the 2nd minute, Michael Lundin hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Viggo Gummeson in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Adam Hansson saved BK Merzog from getting behind. BK Merzog's Adam Hansson played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Viggo Gummeson in the 10th minute of play. Adam Hansson made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Peter Strand in the 13th minute of play. A collision led to BK Merzog getting a freekick after 13 minutes play. Gert Lönn hit a great ball. Peter Strand received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 15th minute. Adam Hansson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Peter Strand struck a weak shot in the 17th minute. Adam Hansson didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Trojanerna. In the 21st minute, Peter Strand got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The supporters of Trojanerna booed when BK Merzog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Marc Duset didn't get a good kick on the ball. Adam Hansson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Peter Strand's shot from short distance in the 23rd minute. After a rather tough play, Trojanerna's Viggo Gummeson got a free kick in the 24th minute. Isaac Sandberg showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Frans Flink in the 27th minute of the match. In the 29th minute of the match Jon Lagerberg sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Adam Hansson skillfully saved the ball. If Alfred Koch had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 36th minute, Björn Sjögren hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 37 minutes into the match, Frans Flink notched a goal, 1-0, to the right of Trojanerna's Isaac Sandberg. Isaac Sandberg was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Alfred Koch received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Isaac Sandberg tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Peter Strand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Hansson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Viggo Gummeson, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viggo Gummeson made a kick off. After a rather tough play, BK Merzog's Jan Lindell got a free kick in the 54th minute. 61 minutes into the match, BK Merzog's goalkeeper Adam Hansson had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Viggo Gummeson. Alfred Koch's late challenge caught a Trojanerna's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Alfred Koch helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of Trojanerna booed when BK Merzog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 62 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alfred Koch didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viggo Gummeson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Adam Hansson having to interfere. If Viggo Gummeson had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 68th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Peter Strand sent away a hard shot on goal in the 69th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Gert Lönn during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Trojanerna booed when BK Merzog was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gert Lönn didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Marc Duset fell near the penalty area in the 78th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored BK Merzog's protests and gave Marc Duset a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to BK Merzog getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Marc Duset hit a great ball. Peter Strand scored 1-1 in the 82nd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Adam Hansson, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After a defensive mix-up in BK Merzog's zone, Viggo Gummeson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Adam Hansson came out of the goal and Viggo Gummeson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 87th minute, Viggo Gummeson reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Adam Hansson. The goal made the score 1-2. If Peter Strand had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 91st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After 94 minutes of play BK Merzog's Gert Lönn was too eager in his attempt to stop his opponent and brought him down. With that he got his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. Gert Lönn hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match.
