Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Henrik Sillén kicked off to start the match. Umeå's Agne Ek got a good chance for a goal in the 4th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Stig Rang received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Rolf Palm tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Hortlax SK's Ivar Kellberg got a free kick in the 14th minute. Agne Ek recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 18th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Agne Ek fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 20th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rolf Palm having to interfere. In the 23rd minute of the match Max Jonasson shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Erik Hääger showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Erik Hääger made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Henrik Sillén in the 24th minute of play. Stig Rang's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Rolf Palm read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 26th minute of play. If Henrik Sillén had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rolf Palm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Stig Rang, who was totally free with the ball in the 32nd minute. Rolf Palm took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Agne Ek, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Philip Olsmann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 38th minute. Erik Hääger tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Joel Thidén in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Erik Hääger prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Umeå's defense didn't have a chance, in the 42nd minute, when Philip Olsmann scored to the left of an out of position Erik Hääger, making the score, 1-0. After a rather tough play, Hortlax SK's Joel Thidén got a free kick in the 45th minute. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Stig Rang stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Erik Hääger showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Henrik Sillén, who was totally free with the ball in the 53rd minute. Rolf Palm made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Stig Rang in the 56th minute of play. In the 58th minute, Stig Rang got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 65th minute, Isaac Grep hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Henrik Sillén sent away a hard shot on goal in the 67th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Stig Rang received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Rolf Palm came out and tried to block the shot, but Stig Rang slotted it home off the left post making it 2-1 in the 75th minute. Rolf Palm showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Morgan Arenstedt, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute. With a little luck, Hortlax SK's Rolf Palm got control of the ball when Agne Ek tried to sneak it across the goal line.
