Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Baxters Boys's Timmy Stolpe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Olof Rudqvist made a fantastic save in the 4th minute, when Timmy Stolpe sent off a good shot on target. Charlie Åkerman was extremely unlucky when he, in the 5th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Baxters Boys getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Samuel Lingren hit a great ball. 15 minutes into the game, Esbjörn Lövgren threw the ball into play from the sideline. Tranemo IFK's Jörn Pihlgren quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. When Baxters Boys's Timmy Stolpe in the 19th minute got a chance for a shot 19th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Tranemo IFK's goalie prevented a goal. Charlie Åkerman hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. 33 minutes into the game, Jörn Pihlgren threw the ball into play from the sideline. Baxters Boys's Charlie Åkerman quickly snatched the ball and retained possesion. Timmy Stolpe recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 34th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A hard shot 38 in the game by Timmy Stolpe from a close distance when the talented Olof Rudqvist managed to make a qualified save. Tranemo IFK's players were relieved. Bengt Rolandsson showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gösta Browald, who was totally free with the ball in the 40th minute. Gösta Browald received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 42nd minute. Bengt Rolandsson tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Valentin Kruse made a kick off. Bernt Odin's late challenge caught a Baxters Boys's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bernt Odin helped the player get up and apologised. After 51 played minutes Tranemo IFK got a freekick which was hit by Bernt Odin. Charlie Åkerman sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience was convinced that Timmy Stolpe's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Olof Rudqvist was relentless in the 57th minute of the game. Baxters Boys's August Mattsson was substituted for Timmy Stolpe. August Mattsson fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 66th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Olof Rudqvist having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Tranemo IFK's zone, August Mattsson stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Olof Rudqvist came out of the goal and August Mattsson tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 73 minutes, August Mattsson made it 1-0 with a short kick to the right side. Tranemo IFK's Olof Rudqvist tried to save the shot but he was too slow in reacting to the shot. Henry Brandt made in the 85th minute of the game a sloppy throw-in which Manfred Apelqvist however managed to control. Charlie Åkerman recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 87th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Baxters Boys fans' excitement grew in the 88th match minute when Baxters Boys's August Mattsson looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 3-0 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Ralf Björklund recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 94th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. August Mattsson sent away a hard shot on goal in the 96th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
