Sören Berggren showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Wilhelm Kellbom in the 8th minute of the match. Wilhelm Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 9th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Berggren having to interfere. In the 20th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Månkarbo Fiskebäck Ltd's goalkeeper Sören Berggren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Daniel Nord in the 24th minute of play forced Hammarö's goalkeeper Sören Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Sören Vacker took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Daniel Nord, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. The audience was convinced that Kenneth Kolberg's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sören Berggren was relentless in the 39th minute of the game. Kenneth Kolberg recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 42nd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Daniel Nord was the one to do the kick off. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Sandberg in the 53rd minute of play forced Hammarö's goalkeeper Sören Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 56th minute the ball was on its way in behind FC Månkarbo Fiskebäck Ltd's goalkeeper Sören Berggren, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After having played for 58 minutes, Kenneth Kolberg managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Hammarö's supporters crossed their fingers, but Kenneth Kolberg was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Wilhelm Kellbom's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Sören Berggren read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 63rd minute of play. If Kenneth Kolberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Kenneth Kolberg might have been able to make a better finish in the 67th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sören Berggren. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Kenneth Kolberg ran back to his position shaking his head. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Arne Sandberg in the 70th minute of play forced Hammarö's goalkeeper Sören Vacker to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Daniel Nord had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. After some careless play in the Hammarö defense, Daniel Nord kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Sören Vacker. The Hammarö fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Sören Vacker should have stopped the shot. Tony Drake hit a great freekick 84 minutes into the match. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Kenneth Kolberg in the 89th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Sören Berggren prevented the ball from getting in the gole. The long shot by Thomas Åman in the 93rd minute really tested Sören Berggren's skills. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. Kenneth Kolberg fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Berggren having to interfere. Wilhelm Kellbom fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sören Berggren having to interfere. The FC Månkarbo Fiskebäck Ltd support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
