Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) After 4 played minutes Bagarmossen IK got a freekick which was hit by Tim Telin. Karl-Oskar Fredriksson acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 5th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Jörgen Klemensson. When Dan Jelm came up free with the goalie in the 7th minute, the Mölndal fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Jelm couldn't finish the play. Karl-Oskar Fredriksson took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Evert Vassenius, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 18 played minutes Mölndal got a freekick which was hit by Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck. Bernt Apelqvist recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 19th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 23rd minute of the match Per Asplund sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Bengt-Arne Browald skillfully saved the ball. Karl-Oskar Fredriksson stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck's shot from short distance in the 25th minute. A collision led to Bagarmossen IK getting a freekick after 25 minutes play. Rolf Moberg hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck in the 32nd minute of play forced Bagarmossen IK's goalkeeper Karl-Oskar Fredriksson to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Michael Söderström fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 33rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Karl-Oskar Fredriksson having to interfere. When Mölndal's Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Bagarmossen IK's goalie prevented a goal. If Michael Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

After 55 minutes, Tim Telin mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Bagarmossen IK and the Mölndal players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 82ndth minute of the game Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bagarmossen IK's Karl-Oskar Fredriksson was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 86 minutes into the match, Bagarmossen IK's goal looked a bit too open when Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck came free, but Karl-Oskar Fredriksson reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Michael Söderström had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Karl-Oskar Fredriksson showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck in the 88th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Bagarmossen IK's zone, Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Karl-Oskar Fredriksson came out of the goal and Sven-Edvin Ahlbeck tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Henrik Beckman hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 96th match minute, Bagarmossen IK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Thomas Klint to maneuver through the defense.
