Jerzy Karp was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 26th minute Strzegów were awarded a corner. Przemyslaw Pietras went to the cornerflag to take it. Gwidon Biraga showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Korneliusz Dresik, who was totally free with the ball in the 27th minute. Everyone was convinced a goal was close when Strzegów's Adam Miazga in the 31st minute lifted the ball towards the upper right corner, but Jerzy Karp was perfectly placed and prevented a goal for Byala through an amazing save. If Adam Miazga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 32nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 35 minutes into the game, Czeslaw Majczyk cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 4-0. Jerzy Karp was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 44th minute Adam Miazga shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Jerzy Karp saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Af the end of the first half the score was 4-1. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Przemyslaw Pietras to strike the kick off in the second half. Jerzy Karp showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Przemyslaw Pietras in the 54th minute of the match. Waclaw Poniewaz hit a great freekick 56 minutes into the match. Fabian Nikodemski fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gwidon Biraga having to interfere. A collision led to Byala getting a freekick after 64 minutes play. Fabian Nikodemski hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Adam Miazga in the 65th minute of play forced Byala's goalkeeper Jerzy Karp to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Gwidon Biraga made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Leonard Gdaniec sent off a good shot on target. Lucjan Munko sent away a hard shot on goal in the 73rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The audience thought a goal was coming when Fabian Nikodemski got free with Gwidon Biraga in the 77th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 83rd minute, Adam Miazga got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The Strzegów support was delighted with a win in a match that could easily have ended differently.
