In the 22nd minute, Radomil Lato ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Herbert Wojtyna was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Olaf Bochynski in the 27th minute of play forced ABC's goalkeeper Herbert Wojtyna to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Radomil Lato fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Herbert Wojtyna having to interfere. Herbert Wojtyna made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Radomil Lato in the 33rd minute of play. Radomil Lato succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 0-10 in the 82nd playminute. When the match had gone on for 86 minutes, Radomil Lato put it in 0-11 from a short distance just to the right of Herbert Wojtyna. Herbert Wojtyna showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Radomil Lato, who was totally free with the ball in the 90th minute.
