Thor Flatås's late challenge caught a Rot FK's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. The referee ignored HeroinbesLaget's protests and gave Hugo Lindås a yellow card for diving instead. In the 29th minute, Hugo Lindås hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Christoffer Halleraker couldn't finish the play. 73 minutes into the match, Rot FK's Kenneth Sandbæk sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Kent-Are Wisløff narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Rot FK's Torbjørn Sogn got a free kick in the 92nd minute. Rot FK walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
