Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Best Uten Ball's Jan-Aage Bjerkeli started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. David Olsvik came out of the goal in the 6th minute to try and stop a shot by Gump Kickers's Bård Engdal. But to his dismay, Bård Engdal quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. Thomas Øverli's late challenge caught a Best Uten Ball's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Thomas Øverli helped the player get up and apologised. In the 9th minute, Thomas Øverli hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. A collision led to Gump Kickers getting a freekick after 11 minutes play. Thomas Øverli hit a great ball. David Olsvik made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bård Engdal in the 16th minute of play. Jeppe Størkersen took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Jan-Aage Bjerkeli, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. If Magne Tidemann had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 19th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 23rd minute, Magne Tidemann got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. In the 30th minute the ball was on its way in behind Best Uten Ball's goalkeeper David Olsvik, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 30th minute, Erlend Sørdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Gump Kickers's Bård Engdal got a good chance for a goal in the 31st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 37th match minute, Best Uten Ball was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Sebastian Hammer to maneuver through the defense. In the 39th minute, Bård Engdal got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Torgeir Ringheim recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Bård Engdal was the one to do the kick off. In the 55th minute, Erlend Sørdal hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Torgeir Ringheim could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 59th minute of the match, but David Olsvik made a huge save. Torgeir Ringheim fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 63rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Olsvik having to interfere. 65 minutes into the match, Best Uten Ball's goalkeeper David Olsvik had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Torgeir Ringheim. Bård Engdal recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 69th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Magne Tidemann received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Jeppe Størkersen tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Jan-Aage Bjerkeli managed to get in a good position for a shot. Best Uten Ball's supporters rose to their feet, but Jan-Aage Bjerkeli was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Jeppe Størkersen breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Tommy Skansen fell near the penalty area in the 76th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Gump Kickers's protests and gave Tommy Skansen a yellow card for diving instead. Bård Engdal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 81st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bård Engdal fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without David Olsvik having to interfere. Torgeir Ringheim received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. David Olsvik tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Jan-Aage Bjerkeli recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After having played for 91 minutes, Magne Tidemann managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Best Uten Ball's supporters crossed their fingers, but Magne Tidemann was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Tommy Skansen hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Jan-Aage Bjerkeli fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Jeppe Størkersen having to interfere. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Gump Kickers eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
