Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Orhaugen's Roger Kielland started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. An unexpectedly hard shot by Roger Kielland in the 4th minute of play forced Mårem BK's goalkeeper Benjamin Gjersøe to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 6 minutes of play, Orhaugen's Jan-Kenneth Ophus made it 0-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Benjamin Gjersøe was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 24th match minute, Mårem BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Nesset to maneuver through the defense. In the 29th play minute Jon Nesset came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Karsten Aarseth. 1-3. In the 34th minute Roger Kielland shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Benjamin Gjersøe saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Roger Kielland had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Benjamin Gjersøe came out of the goal in the 36th minute to try and stop a shot by Orhaugen's Brage Wolden. But to his dismay, Brage Wolden quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-4. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Joakim Farah during the 38th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After a rather tough play, Orhaugen's Joakim Farah got a free kick in the 38th minute. In the 43rd match minute, Mårem BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Birk Johanson to maneuver through the defense. Jon Nesset could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Karsten Aarseth made a huge save. Disappointed in the 1-4 score, the home team went to the dressing room to adjust tactics for the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Jon Nesset was the one to do the kick off. The supporters of Mårem BK booed when Orhaugen was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 54 match minutes in a wonderful position. Rasmus Holsen didn't get a good kick on the ball. Benjamin Gjersøe showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Roger Kielland, who was totally free with the ball in the 63rd minute. In the 65th minute, Morten Ulriksen hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Johannes Lier blasted a shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Karsten Aarseth having to make a save. Jon Nesset received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Karsten Aarseth tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Jørgen Rokne fell near the penalty area in the 74th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Mårem BK's protests and gave Jørgen Rokne a yellow card for diving instead. Benjamin Gjersøe was in exellent shape and made a fantastic save when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to get hold of the ball after a long shot from Marius Skjørestad. Jon Nesset might have been able to make a better finish in the 79th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Karsten Aarseth. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Jon Nesset ran back to his position shaking his head. When Mårem BK's Jon Nesset in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Orhaugen's goalie prevented a goal. Mårem BK's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. When the match clock showed 90 minutes, the score became 2-5 when Jon Nesset sped through Orhaugen's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Karsten Aarseth. In the 93rd match minute, Mårem BK was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jon Volle to maneuver through the defense. Jan-Kenneth Ophus succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-6 in the 96th playminute. Thomas Remme hit a great freekick 99 minutes into the match. The away crowd were delighted with the way their team had played and cheered loudly when the final whistle sounded. Orhaugen walked away with the win, even though the match was close until the end.
