The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 3rd minute Rik Klok shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Hendrik Landzaat saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 5thth minute of the game Rik Klok who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Bhutan Utd's Hendrik Landzaat was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. 6 minutes into the game, one of Bhutan Utd:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. The referee gave Garreweer Eendracht a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Co Kleine, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Bhutan Utd's Hendrik Landzaat. 0-1. After some careless play in the Bhutan Utd defense, Rik Klok kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Hendrik Landzaat. The Bhutan Utd fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Hendrik Landzaat should have stopped the shot. Jos Duinhoven sent away a hard shot on goal in the 21st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bhutan Utd were awarded a corner in the 25th minute after Garreweer Eendracht's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Harm Graaff took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Harm Graaff got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Simon Mosselveld quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. If Rik Klok had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a defensive mix-up in Garreweer Eendracht's zone, Folkert Huizinga stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Simon Mosselveld came out of the goal and Folkert Huizinga tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Hendrik Landzaat didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Garreweer Eendracht's Rik Klok shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 0-4 in the ordered_time% minute. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rik Klok in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hendrik Landzaat saved Bhutan Utd from getting behind. 45 minutes into the game, Meindert Ubels was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Garreweer Eendracht's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bhutan Utd the free kick. A collision led to Garreweer Eendracht getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Meindert Ubels hit a great ball. Rik Klok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 48th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

An unexpectedly hard shot by Jacco Ijspol in the 52nd minute of play forced Garreweer Eendracht's goalkeeper Simon Mosselveld to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Egbert Zandberg had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Hendrik Landzaat showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Rik Klok, who was totally free with the ball in the 57th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Bhutan Utd's zone, Meindert Ubels stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hendrik Landzaat came out of the goal and Meindert Ubels tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Menno van der Sar hit a great freekick 59 minutes into the match. 66 minutes into the game, Bruno Hommes cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-5. Hendrik Landzaat was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. After having played for 71 minutes, Rik Klok managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Garreweer Eendracht's supporters crossed their fingers, but Rik Klok was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Hendrik Landzaat made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Bruno Hommes in the 72nd minute of play. Rik Klok sent away a hard shot on goal in the 74th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bhutan Utd's Hendrik Landzaat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Bruno Hommes in the 75th minute of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Rik Klok in the 77th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Hendrik Landzaat saved Bhutan Utd from getting behind. When Meindert Ubels came up free with the goalie in the 81st minute, the Garreweer Eendracht fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Meindert Ubels couldn't finish the play. A hard shot 83 in the game by Rik Klok from a close distance when the talented Hendrik Landzaat managed to make a qualified save. Bhutan Utd's players were relieved. Rik Klok's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 85thth minute, Hendrik Landzaat skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 89th minute, Rik Klok managed to get in a good position for a shot. Garreweer Eendracht's supporters rose to their feet, but Rik Klok was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Hendrik Landzaat breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Bhutan Utd's Hendrik Landzaat proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 92nd minute of the match, managed to save Bhutan Utd from getting a goal against them. After a rather tough play, Bhutan Utd's Peter Kip got a free kick in the 93rd minute.
