The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jhon Winter helped the player get up and apologised. After 2 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Roswinkel RKSV! Fred Ierlandt shot the penalty kick right outside the post. When the match clock showed 6 minutes, the score became 0-1 when Frits Ax sped through Werthers Original SC's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Kees Grommers. Edwin Eggens sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ruben Smid kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. Arjen van Loo was a little too slow when Peter Boer got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 16th minute. The score was now 1-1. 20 minutes into the match, Werthers Original SC's goal looked a bit too open when Frits Ax came free, but Kees Grommers reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Werthers Original SC's Erik van Dam got a good chance for a goal in the 22nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute, Peter Boer got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Erik van Dam fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Arjen van Loo having to interfere. The supporters of Werthers Original SC booed when Roswinkel RKSV was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 27 match minutes in a wonderful position. Frits Ax didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Frits Ax came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Roswinkel RKSV fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Frits Ax couldn't finish the play. After 32nd play minutes Edwin Eggens shot 1-2, a short shot which went by Kees Grommers and just under the crossbar into goal. The Roswinkel RKSV fans' excitement grew in the 38th match minute when Roswinkel RKSV's Frits Ax looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-3 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. Werthers Original SC's Kees Grommers played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Frits Ax in the 45th minute of play.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Peter Boer made a kick off. Frits Ax succeeded in the game's 56th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-4. An unexpectedly hard shot by Edwin Eggens in the 60th minute of play forced Werthers Original SC's goalkeeper Kees Grommers to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Through an outstanding action, after 65 minutes, Kees Grommers successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. 67 minutes into the match, Werthers Original SC's goalkeeper Kees Grommers had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Frits Ax. In the 75th minute the ball was on its way in behind Werthers Original SC's goalkeeper Kees Grommers, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 77 minutes into the match, Roswinkel RKSV's goal looked a bit too open when Peter Boer came free, but Arjen van Loo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fred Ierlandt kicked well hit freekick during the 80th minute of the match. Edwin Eggens might have been able to make a better finish in the 84th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Kees Grommers. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Edwin Eggens ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Werthers Original SC's Kees Grommers got control of the ball when Frits Ax tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Edwin Eggens had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead.
