Spectators: 32 (Terracing: 25, Seating: 7, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Donato Di Cola started the match with the kick off. Alfonso Tamburrini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 5th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The supporters of Salboro AFC booed when Rain Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 8 match minutes in a wonderful position. Ercole Valletta didn't get a good kick on the ball. After recieving a nice pass, Salboro AFC's Fulvio Trabucco tried to score from far away in the 9th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. Donato Di Cola struck a weak shot in the 13th minute. Alvaro Cugini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Salboro AFC. Enzo Nasuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 18th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Emiliano Evani kicked well hit freekick during the 20th minute of the match. The supporters of Salboro AFC booed when Rain Utd was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 22 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alessio Malvezzi didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 27th minute Donato Di Cola shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alvaro Cugini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alfonso Tamburrini in the 29th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Alvaro Cugini prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Ermanno Farese's late challenge caught a Salboro AFC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Ermanno Farese helped the player get up and apologised. After a rather tough play, Rain Utd's Ermanno Farese got a free kick in the 32nd minute. Damiano Farina received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 35th minute. Fulvio Brandini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 40th minute, Donato Di Cola got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When Alfonso Tamburrini came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Salboro AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alfonso Tamburrini couldn't finish the play. Alvaro Cugini made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Alfonso Tamburrini in the 49th minute of play. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Damiano Farina made a kick off. Enzo Nasuti sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Damiano Farina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damiano Farina fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fulvio Brandini having to interfere. In the 80th minute, Enzo Nasuti got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After 82 minutes of play, Rain Utd's Damiano Farina made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Fulvio Brandini was left in no man's land by his defense there! Damiano Farina scored 2-0 in the 86th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Fulvio Brandini, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Carter Doris charged in rather forcefully in the 92nd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Carter Doris the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After a rather tough play, Salboro AFC's Carter Doris got a free kick in the 92nd minute. If Damiano Farina had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Rain Utd had won after a very even match.
