In the 21st minute, Arturo Bravo ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Franco Goffredo was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. If Ciccio Roberto had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 28th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 30th minute Demetrio De Cesaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Rubini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Demetrio De Cesaris struck a weak shot in the 31st minute. Bianco Rubini didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for ms automobili. Ciccio Roberto fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Rubini having to interfere. In the 36th minute the ball was on its way in behind C.S.K.A. Zingari's goalkeeper Bianco Rubini, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. In the 39th minute Demetrio De Cesaris shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Rubini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. ms automobili's Ciccio Roberto got a good chance for a goal in the 41st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Bianco Rubini showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ciccio Roberto, who was totally free with the ball in the 43rd minute. After 46 played minutes ms automobili got a freekick which was hit by Angelo Zulli. Ermanno Giampieri fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Goffredo having to interfere. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ciccio Roberto made a kick off. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Arturo Bravo fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 72nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Franco Goffredo having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ciccio Roberto in the 75th minute of play forced C.S.K.A. Zingari's goalkeeper Bianco Rubini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 78th match minute, C.S.K.A. Zingari was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aurelio Bottega to maneuver through the defense. Ciccio Roberto received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Bianco Rubini tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Arturo Bravo had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 92nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 97th minute, Arturo Bravo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. C.S.K.A. Zingari had won after a very even match.
