After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Alessandro Pietrantoni managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fanano's supporters rose to their feet, but Alessandro Pietrantoni was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Bianco Rubini breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The audience was convinced that Alessandro Pietrantoni's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Bianco Rubini was relentless in the 11th minute of the game. In the 12th minute Frank Panella shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bianco Rubini saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 30th minute, Bianco Improta hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the C.S.K.A. Zingari defense, Frank Panella kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Bianco Rubini. The C.S.K.A. Zingari fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Bianco Rubini should have stopped the shot. The C.S.K.A. Zingari players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Fanano were winning 1-2.

The wind increased when Frank Panella made the kick off in the second half. In the 62ndth minute of the game Aurelio Bottega who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Fanano's Dino De Vito was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Frank Panella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 66th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, C.S.K.A. Zingari's Cesare Colaussi got a free kick in the 66th minute. In the 71st match minute, Fanano was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Bianco Improta to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 80 minutes, Alessandro Pietrantoni managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fanano's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro Pietrantoni was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 82nd minute, Arturo Bravo got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Frank Panella had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 90th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Augusto Paglione charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Augusto Paglione the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. A collision led to Fanano getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Augusto Paglione hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Frank Panella in the 97th minute of play forced C.S.K.A. Zingari's goalkeeper Bianco Rubini to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Frank Panella fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 100th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bianco Rubini having to interfere. Fanano's supporters were very happy and cheered loudly because their team had won after a very close match.
