Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Emanuele Costa started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. 3 minutes into the game, Gorla Maggiore FC's Emanuele Costa nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Achille Santalucia made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Carmine Biancone fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Santalucia having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Emanuele Costa in the 7th minute of play forced Santarcangelo A.S.R.'s goalkeeper Achille Santalucia to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 8th minute, Carmine Biancone managed to get in a good position for a shot. Gorla Maggiore FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Carmine Biancone was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Achille Santalucia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Achille Santalucia made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Carmine Biancone in the 11th minute of play. When Emanuele Costa came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Gorla Maggiore FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Emanuele Costa couldn't finish the play. Gorla Maggiore FC's Emanuele Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Emanuele Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 27th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Santalucia having to interfere. Emanuele Costa recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 30th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Emanuele Costa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 33rd minute. Achille Santalucia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gorla Maggiore FC's Emanuele Costa got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Camillo Brillante's late challenge caught a Santarcangelo A.S.R.'s player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Camillo Brillante helped the player get up and apologised. Ferdinando Santo acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 40th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Damiano Costa. A collision led to Gorla Maggiore FC getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Carmine Biancone hit a great ball. In the 47th minute, Carmine Biancone fired away a free kick at the goal, but hit it at the wrong angle and it went over the crossbar. Luck had favoured the away team in the first, and they walked off with a 0-1 lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Comunardo Persichetti was the one to do the kick off. 52 minutes into the match, Santarcangelo A.S.R.'s goalkeeper Achille Santalucia had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Camillo Brillante. Camillo Brillante fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 53rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Santalucia having to interfere. In the 60th minute Emanuele Costa shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Achille Santalucia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmine Biancone got free with Achille Santalucia in the 65th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Achille Santalucia made a fantastic save in the 66th minute, when Carmine Biancone sent off a good shot on target. If Carmine Biancone had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Emanuele Costa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 69th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Achille Santalucia having to interfere. Achille Santalucia made a fantastic save in the 71st minute, when Carmine Biancone sent off a good shot on target. The audience thought a goal was coming when Carmine Biancone got free with Achille Santalucia in the 74th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Comunardo Persichetti fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Santarcangelo A.S.R.'s protests and gave Comunardo Persichetti a yellow card for diving instead. After a rather tough play, Santarcangelo A.S.R.'s Comunardo Persichetti got a free kick in the 88th minute. In the 93rd minute, Emanuele Costa got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. When the match was over Gorla Maggiore FC could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Santarcangelo A.S.R. throughout the match.
