Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alessandro De Matteis kicked off to start the match. 3 minutes into the match, SIMPSON FC's goal looked a bit too open when Alessandro De Matteis came free, but Christian Colelli reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. If Cristoforo Di Dio had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 6th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 8th minute, SIMPSON FC's Cristoforo Di Dio ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Ciccio Di Meo. Ciccio Di Meo yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Cristoforo Di Dio received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Ciccio Di Meo came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristoforo Di Dio slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 14th minute. After having played for 19 minutes, Alessandro De Matteis managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Vendri FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alessandro De Matteis was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 20th minute Bruno Gambini shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Christian Colelli saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Christian Colelli showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bruno Gambini in the 23rd minute of the match. Alessandro De Matteis received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Christian Colelli tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 34 minutes, Armin Rossini mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the SIMPSON FC and the Vendri FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Cristoforo Di Dio to make the kick off. Bruno Gambini fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Christian Colelli having to interfere. After having played for 55 minutes, Beppe Eleuteri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. SIMPSON FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Beppe Eleuteri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 78 minutes into the match, Vendri FC's goal looked a bit too open when Cristoforo Di Dio came free, but Ciccio Di Meo reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Bruno Gambini sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.
