Spectators: 34 (Terracing: 26, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Donatien Belleville made the kick off which started today's match. Donatien Belleville received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 5th minute. Fabien Flageul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Augustin Chandelier took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Paul Gache, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 11th minute Donatien Belleville shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Flageul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 13th minute of the match Amine Bouziane sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabien Flageul skillfully saved the ball. The supporters of Five FC booed when Genay was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 13 match minutes in a wonderful position. Barnabe Faugeras didn't get a good kick on the ball. If Aymerick Perrey had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 16th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpectedly hard shot by Aymerick Perrey in the 23rd minute of play forced Five FC's goalkeeper Augustin Chandelier to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. 23 minutes into the match, Aymerick Perrey had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Augustin Chandelier. Five FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Aymerick Perrey was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. After a defensive mix-up in Genay's zone, Donatien Belleville stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabien Flageul came out of the goal and Donatien Belleville tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Genay's Fabien Flageul proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 32nd minute of the match, managed to save Genay from getting a goal against them. After 34 played minutes, Genay's Karl Busson shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Augustin Chandelier came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Genay reached it. Aymerick Perrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 37 minutes into the match, Five FC's goal looked a bit too open when Aymerick Perrey came free, but Augustin Chandelier reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Philippe Chalaye fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabien Flageul having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marius Vandenbossche in the 41st minute of play forced Genay's goalkeeper Fabien Flageul to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Paul Gache fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Augustin Chandelier having to interfere. When Paul Gache came up free with the goalie in the 46th minute, the Genay fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Gache couldn't finish the play. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Paul Gache was the one to do the kick off. With a little luck, Five FC's Augustin Chandelier got control of the ball when Aymerick Perrey tried to sneak it across the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 57th minute, Aymerick Perrey managed to get in a good position for a shot. Genay's supporters rose to their feet, but Aymerick Perrey was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Augustin Chandelier breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Donatien Belleville received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Fabien Flageul tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Amine Bouziane hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. In the 66th minute, Aymerick Perrey got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Paul Gache in the 73rd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Augustin Chandelier prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 74 minutes into the match, Five FC's goalkeeper Augustin Chandelier had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Aymerick Perrey. Five FC's Augustin Chandelier played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Paul Gache in the 78th minute of play. In the 80th minute Philippe Chalaye shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Fabien Flageul saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Five FC's Philippe Chalaye in the 81st minute got a chance for a shot 81st didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Genay's goalie prevented a goal. Paul Gache sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Marius Vandenbossche hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Gaspard Combes was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 90th played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. Aymerick Perrey sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. The referee blew the final whistle, and the away crowd roared, having watched Genay eke out a victory against a very well matched opponent.
