Rafael Incera started the match with the kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Cancelada AFC's zone, Bitxintxo Rivera stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gaizka Caminero came out of the goal and Bitxintxo Rivera tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 11th minute the ball was on its way in behind Cancelada AFC's goalkeeper Gaizka Caminero, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Rafael Incera who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 12thth minute tested the skills of Gaizka Caminero when he managed to save the team from getting behind. When Cancelada AFC's Angel Ocaña in the 14th minute got a chance for a shot 14th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. Cancelada AFC's Gaizka Caminero proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 22nd minute of the match, managed to save Cancelada AFC from getting a goal against them. Bitxintxo Rivera received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Gaizka Caminero came out and tried to block the shot, but Bitxintxo Rivera slotted it home off the left post making it 2-0 in the 29th minute. In the 34th minute, Natxo Incera hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Rafael Incera's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Gaizka Caminero read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 39th minute of play. Luzas SD's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Rafael Incera in the 40th minute. It was a well-played corner which Bitxintxo Rivera managed to volley towards the net. Unfortunately, he didn't get a great hit on the ball and it went out into the grandstand. Thanks to some nice moves Rafael Incera could shoot a difficult shot in the 44th minute, which Gaizka Caminero however easily saved by the left post. After a defensive mix-up in Luzas SD's zone, Alirio Villafane stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Hernando Galnares came out of the goal and Alirio Villafane tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

In the 53rd minute of the match, Natxo Incera tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Hernando Galnares saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Lucio España hit a great freekick 65 minutes into the match. 69 minutes into the match, Cancelada AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Bitxintxo Rivera came free, but Gaizka Caminero reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
