The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. When Aberri Zurica fell near the penalty area in the 4th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Andion's protests and gave Aberri Zurica a yellow card for diving instead. In the 4th match minute, Andion was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aberri Zurica to maneuver through the defense. 6 minutes into the match, Andion's goal looked a bit too open when Bingen Cortes came free, but Karlo Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 8th minute, Maximino Cordoba hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 9th minute, Bingen Cortes sent off a long shot on goal, but the shot was nowhere near the goal and Andion's Karlo Montes didn't even have to move. Amarante De Toro made an important save on a dangerous shot by Sidónio Ferro in the 13th minute. Amarante De Toro stood somewhat misplaced when Toribio Duran came free in front of goal and shot 1-0 to the left of him in the 14 minute. Las Ermitas AFC's Amarante De Toro proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 18th minute of the match, managed to save Las Ermitas AFC from getting a goal against them. The supporters of Andion booed when Las Ermitas AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 20 match minutes in a wonderful position. Orlondo Irureta didn't get a good kick on the ball. Birol Tanpınar fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 43rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Amarante De Toro having to interfere. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.

The wind increased when Toribio Duran made the kick off in the second half. After 53 played minutes, Andion's Sebati Pekşen shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Amarante De Toro came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Andion reached it. 55 minutes into the match, Andion's Toribio Duran sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Amarante De Toro narrowly saved just below the crossbar. When Andion's Toribio Duran in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. The ball was on its way into the goal to the left of him when he managed to stretch himself and save the shot and avoid a goal. 86 minutes in the game, Toribio Duran dribbled his way through the penalty area and after maneuvering past an opponent, drilled a quick shot at the goal. The ball looked like it was going in, but it was hit a bit too hard and flew over the goal. If Toribio Duran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 88th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 94 minutes into the match, Andion's goal looked a bit too open when Ramón Solo came free, but Karlo Montes reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
