In the 15th match minute, La Llacuna CD was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gilberto Alavedra to maneuver through the defense. When Hanni Ramirez came up free with the goalie in the 16th minute, the Sorogain fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Hanni Ramirez couldn't finish the play. Xanti Quesada might have been able to make a better finish in the 21st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Elisardo Cordoba. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Xanti Quesada ran back to his position shaking his head. When La Llacuna CD's Leopoldo Olmedo in the 22nd minute got a chance for a shot 22nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sorogain's goalie prevented a goal. Montxo Obis kicked well hit freekick during the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in La Llacuna CD's zone, Hanni Ramirez stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Inocencio Bodelon came out of the goal and Hanni Ramirez tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Xanti Quesada fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 39th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Elisardo Cordoba having to interfere. Inocencio Bodelon was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Hanni Ramirez showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 41 minute of play. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

In the 54th minute Xanti Quesada shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Elisardo Cordoba saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The supporters of Sorogain booed when La Llacuna CD was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 56 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gilberto Alavedra didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 66 played minutes, Sorogain's Cristobal Quintana shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Inocencio Bodelon came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sorogain reached it. Hanni Ramirez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Inocencio Bodelon tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Xanti Quesada struck a weak shot in the 82nd minute. Elisardo Cordoba didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for La Llacuna CD. The crowd rose to their feet as La Llacuna CD's Xanti Quesada slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Elisardo Cordoba. That made the score 1-1 after 84 minutes of play. When La Llacuna CD's Xanti Quesada in the 95th minute got a chance for a shot 95th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
