In the 89th minute of the match, Ximeno Carro tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mino Antunez saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. When Roberto Elias came up free with the goalie in the 95th minute, the Triano FC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Roberto Elias couldn't finish the play. Jeers came from both ends of the stadium when the final whistle went. Neither team had looked impressive and the draw seeemd a fair result.
