Bienvenido Griful recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 28th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Marciano Verdu in the 34th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Marco Incera saved Sant Pol De Mar FC from getting behind. In the 35th minute, Sant Pol De Mar FC's goalie took a deep sigh of relief after John Sainz fired away a hard shot that went just outside the left post. Bienvenido Griful's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Marco Incera read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 37th minute of play. When Puerto Real CF's Bienvenido Griful in the 39th minute got a chance for a shot 39th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Sant Pol De Mar FC's goalie prevented a goal. Bienvenido Griful sent away a hard shot on goal in the 40th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Ricart Paris had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. A collision led to Puerto Real CF getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Filomeno Cacheres hit a great ball. Raúl Villalcazar tried to clear up in front of the goal, but didn't succeed and rather the ball rolled into the own goal to the right of a despaired Inautzi Guerrero. An unnecessary self made goal, 1-1 in the 49th minute.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Dionisio Garrido to make the kick off. With 61 minutes on the clock, Loren Lagunas commited a dangerous tackle. The referee had no choice but to show him the red card. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 61st minute of the game. One of Puerto Real CF:s players had nearly got his shirt torn off by an opponent while getting free in front of Sant Pol De Mar FC:s goal. The goalkeeper, Inautzi Guerrero, was totally fooled by Sant Pol De Mar FC's Frantzes Saez, who 63 minutes into the game made a penalty shot that went in on the goalkeeper's left side. In the 67th minute, Sant Pol De Mar FC's Dionisio Garrido dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-3. After having played for 74 minutes, Dionisio Garrido managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Sant Pol De Mar FC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Dionisio Garrido was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After 77 played minutes, Sant Pol De Mar FC's Frantzes Saez shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Inautzi Guerrero came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sant Pol De Mar FC reached it. Ricart Paris fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 79th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Inautzi Guerrero having to interfere. In the 81st minute Dionisio Garrido shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Inautzi Guerrero saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 86 minutes into the match, Marciano Verdu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Marco Incera. Sant Pol De Mar FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Marciano Verdu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-3. 89 minutes into the match, Sant Pol De Mar FC's goal looked a bit too open when John Sainz came free, but Marco Incera reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After a rather tough play, Sant Pol De Mar FC's Dionisio Garrido got a free kick in the 91st minute. The referee blew the whistle for a penalty in the 95th minute of the game.
