The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

After a rather tough play, Danish Gooners's Per Flebo got a free kick in the 78th minute. 80 minutes into the match, Kåre Lynd sent off a long shot that looked like it was going straight into the goal, but because Toke Nondal threw himself in his full length he managed to grip the ball by the left post, and there was no goal for Kåre Lynd this time. Artur Khouani's late challenge caught a Danish Gooners's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Artur Khouani helped the player get up and apologised. Artur Khouani kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Danish Gooners's Nichlas Ramling got a good chance for a goal in the 91st minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Toke Nondal made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Kristoffer Nejsum in the 96th minute of play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Danish Gooners fully deserved thier win.
