Spectators: 36 (Terracing: 28, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Dominique Zulle made the kick off which started today's match. When eAntonio Rossignol came up free with the goalie in the 5th minute, the Kefikon HC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that eAntonio Rossignol couldn't finish the play. After having played for 7 minutes, Jeremias Spörri managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Maisprach AC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Jeremias Spörri was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dominique Zulle in the 12th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabien Ciprella saved Kefikon HC from getting behind. In the 15th minute, Maisprach AC's Dominique Zulle ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Fabien Ciprella. Fabien Ciprella yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. 20 minutes into the match, Maisprach AC's Jeremias Spörri sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Fabien Ciprella narrowly saved just below the crossbar. The supporters of Maisprach AC booed when Kefikon HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 21 match minutes in a wonderful position. Felix Riegler didn't get a good kick on the ball. Jeremias Spörri blasted a shot towards the goal in the 30th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Fabien Ciprella having to make a save. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Benoit Leclerc during the 31st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Maisprach AC booed when Kefikon HC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 31 match minutes in a wonderful position. Benoit Leclerc didn't get a good kick on the ball. Bernhard Schürmann showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from eAntonio Rossignol, who was totally free with the ball in the 36th minute. Jan Ineichen's late challenge caught a Kefikon HC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Jan Ineichen helped the player get up and apologised. In the 38th match minute, Maisprach AC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Jan Ineichen to maneuver through the defense. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell eAntonio Rossignol to make the kick off. In the 56th minute of the match Jacques Zberg shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Fabien Ciprella showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Silvio Ducharme hit a great freekick 58 minutes into the match. If Dominique Zulle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 62nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 64th minute, Dominique Zulle left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Maisprach AC fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 2-0. If Dominique Zulle had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 71st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Jeremias Spörri hit a great freekick 72 minutes into the match. Jeremias Spörri sent away a hard shot on goal in the 77th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. After some careless play in the Kefikon HC defense, Dominique Zulle kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Fabien Ciprella. The Kefikon HC fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Fabien Ciprella should have stopped the shot. After a defensive mix-up in Kefikon HC's zone, Dominique Zulle stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Fabien Ciprella came out of the goal and Dominique Zulle tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Stephen Propst charged in rather forcefully in the 86th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Stephen Propst the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 87 played minutes Kefikon HC got a freekick which was hit by Stephen Propst. 92 minutes into the game, Kefikon HC's eAntonio Rossignol nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Bernhard Schürmann made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 3-1. The referee blew his whistle, and the match came to a close. The players exchanged shirts and headed down the tunnel. The Maisprach AC fans cheered their team off the field, for while Kefikon HC had put up a good fight, they were unable to come out of the game with any points to show for their effort.
