In the 17th minute, one of Fc Schönenwerd:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fc Schönenwerd. Henri Weiss went to the wrong direction when Antonio Zacchia was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. Fc Schönenwerd's goalkeeper couldn't reach when Stefan Scheupach 21 minutes into the game got a good kick on the ball which found its way into goal just inside left pole. 1-1. Baptiste Maurer received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 25th minute. Bernhard Schürmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Bob Merkt's late challenge caught a Maisprach AC's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Bob Merkt helped the player get up and apologised. Antonio Zacchia, 29 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 31st minute Alois Zihler shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernhard Schürmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Bernhard Schürmann showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Baptiste Maurer in the 36th minute of the match. 37 minutes into the match, Alois Zihler notched a goal, 1-2, to the right of Maisprach AC's Bernhard Schürmann. Bernhard Schürmann was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Hasso Studer struck a weak shot in the 42nd minute. Baptiste Maurer fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 74th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bernhard Schürmann having to interfere. After a rather tough play, Maisprach AC's Jordi Frei got a free kick in the 77th minute. Alois Zihler received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 81st minute. Bernhard Schürmann tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 84 played minutes Maisprach AC got a freekick which was hit by Maxence Lüscher. Alois Zihler in the 90thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Bernhard Schürmann, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Bernhard Schürmann made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Baptiste Maurer in the 91st minute of play. If Alois Zihler had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 95th minute Baptiste Maurer shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Bernhard Schürmann saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line.
