Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Thami Strauss kicked off to start the match. 7 minutes into the match, Heavenly Giants's goal looked a bit too open when Charles Tshabalala came free, but Bartlomiej Bojanowski reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Charles Tshabalala recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 10th match minute, Heavenly Giants was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Hassan Thobejane to maneuver through the defense. After some fancy dribbling in the 15th minute, Promise Nauseb managed to get in a good position for a shot. Heavenly Giants's supporters rose to their feet, but Promise Nauseb was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Cornell Radebe breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Thami Strauss sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 21 minutes into the match, Kalkpan's goal looked a bit too open when Promise Nauseb came free, but Cornell Radebe reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Promise Nauseb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 27th minute. Cornell Radebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Charles Tshabalala got free with Bartlomiej Bojanowski in the 28th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 29th minute the ball was on its way in behind Heavenly Giants's goalkeeper Bartlomiej Bojanowski, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Aubrey Tembe kicked well hit freekick during the 30th minute of the match.
The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Takalani Cassim was the one to do the kick off. 54 minutes into the match, Heavenly Giants's Thomas Thebe sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Cornell Radebe narrowly saved just below the crossbar. After 58 minutes of play, Kalkpan's Takalani Cassim made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Bartlomiej Bojanowski was left in no man's land by his defense there! Promise Nauseb received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 63rd minute. Cornell Radebe tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 65 played minutes Promise Nauseb rounded Kalkpan's defense and shot a beautiful shot into goal via left pole - 1-1. Promise Nauseb struck a weak shot in the 70th minute. Cornell Radebe didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Heavenly Giants. The supporters of Heavenly Giants booed when Kalkpan was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 71 match minutes in a wonderful position. Charles Tshabalala didn't get a good kick on the ball. An unexpected shot in the 84th minute by Promise Nauseb got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. After some fancy dribbling in the 90th minute, Promise Nauseb managed to get in a good position for a shot.
