After having played for 5 minutes, Mădălin Busuioc managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Teiul SC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Mădălin Busuioc was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Sorin Hreapcă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Negreanu having to interfere. In the 7th minute, Cristi Donciu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Cristi Donciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. An unexpectedly hard shot by Vlad Olteanu in the 14th minute of play forced Teiul SC's goalkeeper Ionel Mihu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The supporters of Calonda FC booed when Teiul SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 16 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Busuioc didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 18th minute the ball was on its way in behind Calonda FC's goalkeeper Sandu Negreanu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Cristi Donciu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Francisc Andronescu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandu Negreanu having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Calonda FC's zone, Cristi Donciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sandu Negreanu came out of the goal and Cristi Donciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Sandu Negreanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Cristi Donciu in the 30th minute. In the 34th minute of the match Nistor Pisculescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Ionel Mihu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Sorin Hreapcă blasted a shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Sandu Negreanu having to make a save. In the 39th match minute, Calonda FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nistor Pisculescu to maneuver through the defense. 42 minutes into the game, Mădălin Busuioc cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sandu Negreanu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. In the 47th minute of the match, Cristi Donciu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Sandu Negreanu was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 1-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Mădălin Busuioc was the one to do the kick off. Cristi Donciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 61st minute. Sandu Negreanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Petrică Crăciun hit a great freekick 64 minutes into the match. Cristi Donciu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 67th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Negreanu having to interfere. When Mădălin Busuioc came up free with the goalie in the 68th minute, the Teiul SC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Mădălin Busuioc couldn't finish the play. Ion Trişcu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Sandu Negreanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ion Trişcu, who was totally free with the ball in the 86th minute. Francisc Andronescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Sandu Negreanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Cristi Donciu in the 90th minute of the match. Ion Trişcu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sandu Negreanu having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 94 minutes, Ion Trişcu put it in 3-0 from a short distance just to the right of Sandu Negreanu. There was no doubt that Teiul SC were the better team. Teiul SC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
