Spectators: 35 (Terracing: 27, Seating: 8, VIP seats: 0) Cezar Vanghelie started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. A collision led to Sumugiu getting a freekick after 2 minutes play. Iulian Zdrehuş hit a great ball. Cristinel Bologa received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Lucian Bobei came out and tried to block the shot, but Cristinel Bologa slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 6th minute. In the 9th minute, Cristinel Bologa reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Lucian Bobei. The goal made the score 2-0. When Cezar Vanghelie came up free with the goalie in the 13th minute, the Sumugiu fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Cezar Vanghelie couldn't finish the play. Cezar Vanghelie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 14th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Cezar Vanghelie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 17th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Cezar Vanghelie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 22nd minute. Lucian Bobei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Cezar Vanghelie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 27th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. When Costel Lupșe fell near the penalty area in the 27th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Caramidaru's protests and gave Costel Lupșe a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to Caramidaru getting a freekick after 28 minutes play. Costel Lupșe hit a great ball. Cezar Vanghelie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Bogdan Sorin hit a great freekick 36 minutes into the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Avarvarei in the 37th minute of play forced Sumugiu's goalkeeper Corneliu Boieru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 42nd match minute, Caramidaru was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Costel Lupșe to maneuver through the defense. Cezar Dridu took the ball and in the 46 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corneliu Boieru. Corneliu Boieru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Octav Mârzac stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Corneliu Boieru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Octav Mârzac, who was totally free with the ball in the 52nd minute. Corneliu Boieru made a fantastic save in the 53rd minute, when Costel Lupșe sent off a good shot on target. Cristinel Bologa fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Bobei having to interfere. Lucian Bobei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Cezar Vanghelie in the 59th minute of play. After a rather tough play, Sumugiu's Iulian Zdrehuş got a free kick in the 60th minute. Sumugiu's Corneliu Boieru played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Octav Mârzac in the 61st minute of play. Iulian Zdrehuş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Lucian Bobei having to interfere. Cristinel Bologa received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 68th minute. Lucian Bobei tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Cezar Dridu hit a great freekick 78 minutes into the match. If Cristinel Bologa had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Caramidaru's Costică Avarvarei got a free kick in the 82nd minute. Iulian Zdrehuş was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 82nd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. 85 minutes into the match, Sumugiu's goal looked a bit too open when Octav Mârzac came free, but Corneliu Boieru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Cezar Vanghelie's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Lucian Bobei read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 93rd minute of play.
