After a rather tough play, Black Scorpions Colentina's Anton Baldovin got a free kick in the 2nd minute. After 3 played minutes, ASU POLI TIMISOARA's Remus Hurdubețiu shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Șerban Onișoru came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in ASU POLI TIMISOARA reached it. Șerban Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Remus Hurdubețiu in the 5th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Black Scorpions Colentina's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Ştefulescu came free, but Șerban Onișoru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. After some careless play in the Black Scorpions Colentina defense, Gheorghe Sorin kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Șerban Onișoru. The Black Scorpions Colentina fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Șerban Onișoru should have stopped the shot. Șerban Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Ştefulescu in the 16th minute of play. A collision led to Black Scorpions Colentina getting a freekick after 16 minutes play. Șerban Geantă hit a great ball. If Marin Angheloiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 27 minutes into the game, George Dumitru was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. ASU POLI TIMISOARA's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Black Scorpions Colentina the free kick. 29 minutes into the match, Marcu Manole notched a goal, 1-1, to the right of ASU POLI TIMISOARA's Albert Ciolpan. Albert Ciolpan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Șerban Onișoru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Ştefulescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 33rd minute. Albert Ciolpan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Nicodim Olteanu in the 39th minute of play. In the 40th minute of the match, Gheorghe Sorin tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Șerban Onișoru saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Albert Ciolpan showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Șerban Geantă, who was totally free with the ball in the 44th minute. Șerban Onișoru was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Remus Hurdubețiu showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 2-1 in the 47 minute of play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-1.

Șerban Onișoru came out of the goal in the 53rd minute to try and stop a shot by ASU POLI TIMISOARA's Remus Hurdubețiu. But to his dismay, Remus Hurdubețiu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-1. Șerban Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Ştefulescu in the 58th minute of play. After 59 played minutes Black Scorpions Colentina got a freekick which was hit by Șerban Geantă. After a rather tough play, Black Scorpions Colentina's Narcis Voica got a free kick in the 60th minute. 62 minutes into the game, Marcu Manole was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Black Scorpions Colentina's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave ASU POLI TIMISOARA the free kick. The referee ignored ASU POLI TIMISOARA's protests and gave Remus Hurdubețiu a yellow card for diving instead. A collision led to ASU POLI TIMISOARA getting a freekick after 71 minutes play. Remus Hurdubețiu hit a great ball. ASU POLI TIMISOARA's Albert Ciolpan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Vali Cicortaș in the 72nd minute of play. When Șerban Geantă fell near the penalty area in the 72nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Black Scorpions Colentina's protests and gave Șerban Geantă a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of ASU POLI TIMISOARA booed when Black Scorpions Colentina was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Șerban Geantă didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 76th match minute, ASU POLI TIMISOARA was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Valeriu Perișoară to maneuver through the defense. Șerban Onișoru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Remus Hurdubețiu, who was totally free with the ball in the 78th minute. Șerban Onișoru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gheorghe Sorin in the 85th minute of play. 86 minutes into the match, Black Scorpions Colentina's goal looked a bit too open when Remus Hurdubețiu came free, but Șerban Onișoru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vali Cicortaș succeeded in the game's 97th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 3-2.
