Fc Barcelona b's Sabin Stănculescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gheorghe Sorin in the 4th minute of play. Albert Ciolpan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Panait Pupăzan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After 8 played minutes ASU POLI TIMISOARA got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Pascaru. Albert Ciolpan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Pupăzan in the 10th minute of play. Iacob Murgescu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Sabin Stănculescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Remus Hurdubețiu in the 13th minute. Albert Ciolpan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Niculae Cazacu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Leonard Maniu came up free with the goalie in the 18th minute, the Fc Barcelona b fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Leonard Maniu couldn't finish the play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Remus Hurdubețiu got free with Sabin Stănculescu in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Gheorghe Sorin fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sabin Stănculescu having to interfere. 25 minutes into the game, Remus Hurdubețiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-0. Sabin Stănculescu was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Panait Pupăzan hit a great freekick 28 minutes into the match. Valer Murărașu charged in rather forcefully in the 29th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Valer Murărașu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 29 played minutes Fc Barcelona b got a freekick which was hit by Valer Murărașu. The supporters of Fc Barcelona b booed when ASU POLI TIMISOARA was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 45 match minutes in a wonderful position. Valeriu Perișoară didn't get a good kick on the ball. Albert Ciolpan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Panait Pupăzan in the 46th minute of play. 47 minutes into the match, Fc Barcelona b's goalkeeper Sabin Stănculescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Octav Tănăsocă.

After a rather tough play, Fc Barcelona b's Costică Buta got a free kick in the 55th minute. Octav Tănăsocă recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Valer Murărașu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. In the 62nd minute, Remus Hurdubețiu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Sabin Stănculescu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Panait Pupăzan could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 65th minute of the match, but Albert Ciolpan made a huge save. In the 66thth minute of the game Valer Murărașu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but ASU POLI TIMISOARA's Albert Ciolpan was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Albert Ciolpan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Niculae Cazacu in the 69th minute of the match. Octav Tănăsocă kicked well hit freekick during the 70th minute of the match. Valer Murărașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 72nd minute. Albert Ciolpan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Costică Buta made in the 74th minute of the game a fairly good throw-in which was taken care of by Valer Murărașu. ASU POLI TIMISOARA's Albert Ciolpan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 75th minute of the match, managed to save ASU POLI TIMISOARA from getting a goal against them. After 80 played minutes Fc Barcelona b got a freekick which was hit by Valer Murărașu. The audience was convinced that Gheorghe Sorin's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Sabin Stănculescu was relentless in the 81st minute of the game. Niculae Cazacu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 83rd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Ciolpan having to interfere. ASU POLI TIMISOARA's Albert Ciolpan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Niculae Cazacu in the 85th minute of play. Leonard Maniu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 87th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Albert Ciolpan having to interfere. Panait Pupăzan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 89th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octav Tănăsocă hit a great freekick 92 minutes into the match. Fc Barcelona b's Niculae Cazacu got a good chance for a goal in the 96th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. For all the effort they put into the match, the Fc Barcelona b players left disappointed. They had fought hard, but couldn't break down the home team's defense. The match ended in a win for ASU POLI TIMISOARA.
