Vefa Adal sent away a hard shot on goal in the 44th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gürsel Şevket fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 46th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aycan Özgurcan having to interfere. If Serbülent Ulum had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 47th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Serbülent Ulum stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a defensive mix-up in Gölhisar's zone, Gürsel Şevket stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aycan Özgurcan came out of the goal and Gürsel Şevket tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Göktürk Ensar showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Habib Tun, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. Aycan Özgurcan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gürsel Şevket went, in the 62nd minute, to the upper right corner, 1-0 was the resulting score. After 65 played minutes Devlet-i Ebed Müddet 1299 got a freekick which was hit by Mehmet Edip Ahid. If Enver Dağtekin had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 67th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Ali Haydar Apaydın kicked well hit freekick during the 68th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Enver Dağtekin got free with Göktürk Ensar in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
